Consulting on the development proposals for ‘Lots Road South’

Delivering for the Lots Road community and the Council

At the beginning of this year, Mount Anvil was selected by Kensington and Chelsea Council as development partner for Lots Road South. We, Mount Anvil, are incredibly proud to have been entrusted with this important part of the Lots Road neighbourhood, and throughout the rest of 2023 will be working hard alongside the Council to develop a design which delivers for both the borough and Lots Road community.

We’re right at the beginning of this journey, and in May this year started by hosting two meet the team events to introduce ourselves, speak to local neighbours and hear how people would like to be kept updated.

We want as many people as possible to be a part of this process and will be sharing regular updates on this website and in digital and printed newsletters to the local community.

We’re hosting a first workshop with our newly appointed lead architect PRP in July. This will look at the design brief we’ve been given by the Council, which was shaped by local community representatives at a series of earlier workshops held in 2021 and 2022.

Together, we want to discuss how we might go about meeting this brief and where we could position different buildings and uses within the overall site. We’ll then take this feedback and start working on more detailed designs for the site later this summer and present this work back to local residents.

Before Mount Anvil was brought onboard, Kensington and Chelsea Council spent some time consulting with the local community on its vision for the site and wider Lots Road area.

Take a look at the timeline to learn more about their activity and how we’ll be taking this forward together:
